Try these tasty veggie Jerk Bean Burgers with our delicious Jerk Rub. Perfect for a summer lunch or snack.


1/2 can Chickpeas, drained

1/2 can Cannelloni Beans, drained

1/2 packet of Tan Rosie’s Jerk Rub

small bunch of parsley, chopped

1 egg

1/2 red birdseye chilli

1/2 green birdseye chilli

100g fresh breadcrumbs

1 medium onion, diced finely

1 tbsp olive olive



Place all ingredients (except the breadcrumbs and onions) into a food processor and blend into a smooth paste. Scrape into a bowl and add the breadcrumbs. Form into burgers and chill in the fridge foe 15 minutes. Heat the oil in a frying pan until reasonably hot (try not to have the heat too high as they will burn quickly). Fry the burgers for about 4 minutes on either side, keep the heat on medium. Serve with wholemeal buns and a salad. Try them with a little extra heat using our Tan Rosie’s Garlic & Pepper Sauce (HOT)
