CARIBBEAN CLASSICS – Jerk Chicken is a classic Jamaican dish which is great for lunch or dinner. Children will learn how to make a jerk marinade from scratch and get stuck into creating a delicious lightly spiced coleslaw. It’s very hands on with lots to learn

What to expect on the day..

  • All staff have Enhanced DBS Certificates
  • All abilities catered for
  • Classes will have 8-10 children per session
  • Lesson duration is 2 Hours
  • Cook enough for 2 people
  • Laminated recipes cards to take home in a presentation folder
  • All ingredients and equipment are provided
  • All food can be taken home to eat
  • Lessons are during school holiday periods only
  • Children aged 9 – 17 years only
  • Learn from experienced home cooks Lee and Monica from Tan Rosie
  • One-to-One guidance and cooking tips throughout each lesson
  • Complimentary drinks available
  • Make friends with other children and have fun!
  • Packaging is provided to take food home
  • Tan Rosie Caribbean Cookery School Certificate of Achievement for each child
